Surf Club I is a 96-unit condominium complex located directly on the Atlantic Ocean with breathtaking ocean views from every unit.
Residents enjoy watching dolphins right from their balconies and have the unique experience in summer of watching endangered Green, Leatherback and Loggerhead turtle hatchlings scamper out to sea from the beach right at their back door. One can swim, surf, snorkel, stroll, sun and lounge on our beach!
The club house offers a three-story viewing tower, reading room, book and video lending library, a large community room with a magnificent fireplace and wooden dance floor; all of which overlooks a gorgeous pool with panoramic ocean views. The Beach Club can be reserved for private functions.
Tennis courts, pickle ball courts, volley ball courts, ping pong, horseshoes, shuffle board and a lap pool, are located across A1A at Matanzas Shores. Loan equipment is available at the guard gate house.
The Boat Club has a screened in entertainment area with a summer kitchen for entertaining and a convenient dock/fishing pier located on the Matanzas River. Launch a kayak and explore the river from the dock.
A lush canopy of native trees and plants exists along the path to the Boat Club, dock and fishing pier, as you wander through miles of sidewalks walking, jogging and bicycling up or down historic A1A.
Home of the endangered (Giant) Goppher Tortoise, the park runs along the dunes just south of Surf Club. A dune walkover to the beach provides access to the beach, and an opportunity to enjoy the flora and fauna. On the unique cinnamon-colored beach one can observe amazing coquina rock formations.
